Take a ride from Gunbarrel either east towards the Boulder Reservoir or west to Niwot on the Lobo trail (watch for sings as some access trails are off limits to e-bikes). Cruise the Twin Lakes loop and grab a pint of your favorite beer at Avery Brewing Company. Head further south and try the multiple path options around Walden Ponds for breathtaking views over the wetlands towards the Boulder flatirons.

We’d like to see Boulder County Open Space open up more e-bike access on portions of LoBo trail. Mainly the sections west of 71st St along the SH119 underpass towards the Boulder Reservoir and area north of the Lookout Rd. access bridge towards the SH52 underpass to Niwot. Outside of the morning and afternoon commuter window these areas typically have minimal traffic.
