Shimano offers two separate apps within the E-Tube ecosystem:
1. E-TUBE PROJECT Cyclist (Customization & Maintenance)
This is the main app for configuring and maintaining Shimano electronic systems.
- Customization: Remap shifter buttons, adjust shift speed, and configure Synchro Shift settings.
- E-bike tuning: Modify assist levels, torque response, and acceleration characteristics for Shimano STEPS motors.
- Firmware updates: Wirelessly install the latest software updates for compatible components.
